Home Technology Brief:
“Film enthusiast and photographer desire the highest quality sound and picture quality within a minimalist design”
The Final Cut:
Aesthetic individuals, our Clients needed an AV system which matched her intensely visual lifestyle, delivering both on style and function. It needed to be simple to use, reliable and (of course) provide the ultimate viewing experience – an emphasis on 3D was also paramount for a household who enjoyed documentaries and movies in their spare time.
A dual-level luxury terraced flat nestled deep in the heart of Belgravia, our main brief evolved around the aesthetics; the minimalist style and charming statement pieces meant this apartment managed to combined the ambience of the Tate Modern with the unaffected cosiness of a London home. Our brief was simple – the client wanted the biggest and best television experience money could buy them. The twist came with introducing a system which gave the client’s all they wanted yet remained compatible with the open spaces and stylized personality of the home itself.
The Inspired Solution:
To save on clutter we integrated the system to a small Control4 device, with the ability to control the room’s complete AV requirements from one remote. Ideal for single room control, the universal HC-250 delivers instantaneous control with a simple design and small form-factor. Extra control through iPhone and iPad apps added the flexibility needed so desperately by our busy clients.
Keeping the room as streamlined and open as possible, we used swivel swing bracket to fit a Panasonic screen, allowing the visuals to hug the charcoal grey finishing acting as the main focal point to the room. An 80 watt invisible in-wall loudspeaker provides the high end audio, backed up by two in-wall speakers to create a sumptuous surround sound experience.
